I’m loving the music. Emil & The Ecstatic are one of my favorite bands and their two previous CDs got a lot of airplay in my shows. The new disc is even better showcasing their trademark mix of classic 1960s blues with some old-school early soul in the vain of Jackie Wilson. It is like Otis Rush jamming with Little Milton’s band. Tasty guitar, memorable songs and beautiful sound of the CD production wise – it sounds very classy.
